Caught On Video: Know Him? Suspect Attempts To Enter Car In New Canaan

Police are searching for a suspect who was caught on surveillance video attempting to enter a vehicle that was parked in a driveway overnight in New Canaan.

The New Canaan Police Department was contacted by an Orchard Drive resident, who was reviewing home security video footage, where he spotted the suspect attempting to enter his truck in front of the residence.

The attempted larceny took place at 1 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 26. The suspect in the video is a white male wearing white sneakers and a tan jacket, though his face and head were covered. Anyone with information regarding the investigation has been asked to contact the Sgt. Casey at the New Canaan Police Department by calling (203) 594-3523.
